Commercial development, Soapworks, received special recognition in the Recycled/Refurbished Workplace category at the British Council for Offices (BCO) National Awards last month. This acknowledgment comes after Soapworks won the regional award of the same category in April.
The iconic development was commended for its highly flexible workplace environment, as well as its bold branding. This is in addition to the recognition Soapworks received in the BCO North West, Northern Ireland and Wales Awards, for its innovative design and commitment to preserving historical elements of the original building.
Jennifer Bamber, Soapworks Manager, commented: “A great deal of hard work and dedication has gone into the regeneration of the former Colgate Palmolive Factory. The focus has been to provide a truly flexible working space that can meet the needs of any business. It is wonderful to see this commitment appreciated by the BCO, and to be recognised amongst other impressive developments within the recycled and refurbished category.”
